We appreciate your suggestion and it will be taken into consideration when adding new assets.
In some host applications, the V-Ray Proxy can override the visibility of the parts if the asset was split at the time of creation (for example of a such functionality check the 3ds Max docs here). In the case of Cosmos's most of the potted plants have separate geometry for the plant and the pot, so both can be used separately.
It would be nice if we could switch on/off the visibility of pots, vases, etc. for plants and flowers.
