Existing asset management is chaotic. :-) ... We need a single place for assets where all assets can be viewed by thumbnail preview without opening subfolders to view thumbnails. Assets file handling needs to be consistent and automated. Vrmat, cosmos, custom materials and other should be handled similarly. If we tweak a material, it should be obvious whether the change will be stored as a new material in the single source of materials or whether it will live in the embedded file.
